A rainy and romantic Copenhagen elopement
Don’t get us wrong, as a Copenhagen elopement photographer there’s nothing we love more than photographing in the great expanse of nature but we’ve been excited for so long to capture an elopement story right in the heart of an urban landscape that we were over the moon when Danny and Kate got in touch with us a few months ago to document their Copenhagen elopement story in Denmark. It was a dream-come-true for us and we’re still pinching ourselves that it all happened!
These two super-down-to-Earth-and-laid-back Aussies decided to kick off their 6-week European holiday by secretly tying the knot in a way that was meaningful to them and we had an amazing time hanging out with these guys as a Copenhagen wedding photographer on their elopement day exploring Copenhagen’s colourful streets and hidden gems.
The elopement day kicked off with some relaxing preparations alone in their hotel before an emotional ‘first look’ as Danny and Kate saw each other for the first time in the morning. Their first look was one of the most special moments we’ve captured. Seeing Danny so moved was a beautiful moment to capture.
We then ventured out into the drizzly streets to make our way to the Copenhagen City Hall which was just a 5 minute walk away.
Their ceremony at the city town hall was quick but very emotional and after a few portrait photos in the town hall we set foot to start exploring the streets of Copenhagen. It was so moving to see two people so genuinely and completely in-love and devoted to one another and there was something about the ambience of this day, on this city that we will always remember.

I am totally blown away… Copenhagen is my favorite city in the world (I live in France but my whole family lives there) and it is even more beautiful (if possible) captured by you guys. You are so talented, it is both painful and an explosion of pleasure (mostly that of course, at least I know who I will hire for my wedding :))))
