Kristin & Eskil // Iceland Wedding Photographer

Kristin, being half-Icelandic knows Iceland pretty well so we had an unforgettable time hanging out with these guys the year prior when they met us in Reykjavik and drove us to some of their favourite spots outside of the city.
Skipping forward a year later we couldn’t be more excited about return to Iceland to photograph Kristin and Eskil’s wedding at Héraðsskólinn – a historical building and school designed in 1928 by Iceland’s most famous architect, Guðjón Samúelsson. Today Héraðsskólinn exists as a hostel and also a bloody amazing place to host a wedding!
We never expect it from our couples but Kristin and Eskil went out of their way to make us feel like part of the gang and we feel extremely grateful to meet such kind and amazing people like these guys.
Kristin and Eskil planned a lot of time aside for photos so one memory we’ll never forget is Kristin and Eskil laughing in the back seat while Dylan is driving frantically in (what felt like) a giant 4-wheel-drive on and off the F-roads to reach our locations in time. Good times.
We have nothing but the most precious memories when thinking back to Kristin and Eskil’s beautiful Norwegian wedding in Iceland. Two of the most passionate, kind and genuinely in-love people we’ve met and we’re grateful to have experienced this special day with them.

We love love love our wedding pictures and could not be more happy or grateful with the work you did! You captured the mood of Iceland and the warmth of the wedding in a perfect balance. We would not hesitate to recommend The Kitcheners – no one could ever top this for us.
