A romantic Glen Etive elopement tale
We’re super excited to finally share the intimate Glen Etive Elopement of two very awesome people, Nina and Darek. Being an elopement photographer has it’s perks and one thing that never ceases to amaze me is the incredibly beautiful landscape! I feel mega-fortunate to be able to capture such unique and emotion-filled stories here. Glencoe is a special part of the Scottish Highlands that I’ve photographed at for over 8 years and each time I return I’m discovering something new about this amazing part of the world.
An unforgettable story
Nina and Darek, two mega-talented wedding photographers based in Poland, travelled to Scotland for their Glen Etive elopement with a handful of their closest friends. They exchanged their wedding vows in a quiet place overlooking Glencoe’s iconic Three Sisters backdrop.
Not only are Nina and Darek talented photographers but they’re also talented musicians too. Just before their first look, Darek surprised Nina with a song he sung and played on acoustic guitar. There wasn’t a dry eye on the room.
It’s unforgettable moments like this one that I always feel very honoured to witness and be a part of.
After an emotional ceremony we chased the rest of the remaining light to explore the rugged landscape under the most unforgettable Autumn sunset.

I remember when I found you first time 5 or 6 years ago. Together with my husband we scrolled through your work and art. And we were touched, I was crying then. And I’m crying now. Such an inspiring,beautiful and emotional piece of art. You dont know but I’ll tell you, its becasue of you I started photographing people and their love. I’m still very far from the masterpiece you create but I feel like you gave me courage to do so. To try capture something invisible but visible.
