Glen Affric Elopement In The Cairngorms

Eva and Sam wanted their Glen Affric elopement day to be relaxed, fun and somewhere in the beautiful Scottish nature! Their intimate elopement in the cairngorms area of Scotland was exactly that!
Friendship was something they held on to dearly so it was even more special that their closest friends could fly in from different parts of the globe to join in on the fun at Glen Affric.
The morning kicked off in a beautiful, old house nestled in the Cairngorms and an emotional ceremony followed afterwards. It was really nice to witness a bunch of friends all from different walks of life reuniting together for Eva and Sam’s Glen Affric elopement.
Later in the afternoon we packed up some wood, whiskey and a guitar and jumped in the car to drive to a small island hidden in the middle of a quiet and serene loch without another soul to be seen or heard for miles.
After a walk around loch Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhoin and a few photos later, a bonfire was in full swing and a sing along and some fine whiskey kept everyone warm for the next few hours. The sun disappeared behind the mountains and after a few glasses of whiskey the only the natural thing left to do was take a quick dip in the ice-cold loch!
It was an absolute honour hanging out with these guys for the day documenting Eva and Sam’s Cairngorms Glen Affric elopement and I wish them all the very best for their new life and adventure together.
